Rowallan Company

RowCo

Rowallan Company was a lesser known, 12-week character development course held at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). It served as a filter for selected individuals hoping to attend the year-long commissioning course and gain the elevated status of Officer Cadet. Based solely on training conceived by Lord Rowallan in 1943 that prepared men for the Second World War, it was reconstituted at RMAS in 1977.

The course was designed to correct character issues identified in the initial officer recruitment phase and bring about rapid-maturing by means of an arduous programme that challenged individuals’ mental, physical and psychological resiliance. The course was founded on Lord Rowallan’s principles which included learning by doing, rewarding success and making individuals pay for their mistakes.

The course ran from 1977 until it was disbanded in 1999. This belt proudly pays homage to the course colours as provided to those that completed and passed the course and whom will forever refer to the experience as ‘RowCo’.

Made in association with Pampeano. Manufactured using only the best raw materials. Giving you a belt, which not only looks good but will last.

****It is important to measure your existing belt to get the correct size. Please see sizing chart for guidance. You can return a belt purchased that is the wrong size. However, there will be a postage charge to send the replacement belt. ****
